Switching gears: anyone have any insight into sizing on the Geller lounge pants? I would normally assume a 48 for US 30, but just wanted to put it out there.

I didn't expect to like my Butteros without their leather laces, but I switched up one of the pairs this morning for an experiment. I may actually like them even better this way:

Really? wow, I've been wearing my tanino to death and the laces are still fine. Do you pull really hard on them?

We'll order a whole bunch of laces with the next Buttero order - thanks for bringing this up!

I do not. In fact, I was specifically gentle with these because I could tell the one lace was weak from the start.

My first pair of tanino have been worn a lot more and there is no weakness in the laces at all. But having had plenty of shoes with leather laces before, sometimes you just get a weak lace and it will snap without much effort. I suspected this was fairly well known and that's why you send the pair of cotton laces with each order. Regardless, it isn't a complaint. There is always going to be a possibility of tensile weakness in a leather lace due to the nature of the product.

I understand now. I only have one pair so not a lot of data points... I was simply surprised that mine had performed so differently from yours.

The two pairs of laces is because some people prefer the look of cotton laces and others like them better with leather laces. I actually like the cotton-laced pic you posted - maybe it's time for me to switch things up for a bit!

Haigaiz,

ZOMG, in stitches here! My pal AJL asked me to intervene on his behalf since he's kind of a shmuck and I'm pretty much a bawsman around here. He figured I'd have a better shot at getting a response than him (pretty sharp for a shmuck. derp.)

Anywaze, he'd like to know about the OS arrow quilted jacket; sizewize he's a 38S in Formosa. Being as he's kind of a sawed off little runt, he's hoping the body and sleeves iznay too longzay. He's wondering why the thing appears so slept on since it looks like it could be amazaballs for cas layering. He's pretty sure he'd like to kop but needs the 411.

Er, guess thats errthang he wanted me to ask. Now gotta go do some kopping. Kop kop kop! HANJOY!!

My suede Butteros only came with leather laces. Is there supposed to be more than one type of laces included?

I wear 7D TTS and 6.5D Alden barrie. What would be good size for Buttero?

Thx in advance!
