Homemade peanut butter is AWESOME. We use the good ol' Kitchen Aid mixer (well, when I say "we," I mean "my wife.")

Nice pickup on the sweater and the scarf. I assume the sweater is huge?

Nice PA's, I wear a 9 1/2 D normally, but the PA's are on the "5" last that runs a little narrow, interested....(PM'd)

They also run long though. My experience is that if you normally wear a 9.5 D, in the 5 you'd be best with a 9E. Of course, YMMV.

Correct on the length, I'm wearing my Strands today (also on the 5 last) and they are longer.....Was thinking more of the narrowness, would have to size down.

Speaking of not a good thing, we've all griped about Sean Jean's Script on a Purple Label, and also about Savanne's waistband before. Well, I've got a new one. Yesterday I was out thrifting and I saw

And it still had a tag hanging on it! I've only seen this on Incotex, so I was jazzed (even though not my size) until I looked at that tag

Barry who?! Well, maybe they're made by the same folks, or something, but no, these were fine made in China trou. :cloud:
I ended up leaving empty handed after reuniting a Chaps suit for the good of humanity.

Believe it or not, I own a pair of Barry Bricken cords. Mine were also made in China, but they're well constructed and have held up better than I could imagine. I will probably start wearing them again in the next week or two. I got them for a steal at Sierra Trading Post. My wife and I were in Cheyenne, Wyoming a couple of years ago and I just had to stop at the store. I grabbed a bunch of things, including these for $11.95 (I checked my order history at STP. They keep your orders for years in your account).

Anyway, I was pleased with them despite the fact that they're far from the most expensive pants I've bought.

A big thanks to acosbysweater one more time. I've mentioned this one other time, but I saw a pair of sunglasses at a TJ Maxx and left them for some reason. He went and picked them up and shipped them here. Really grateful for it and it's surprising how relative strangers online can pull through with things like that.

Here they are:

Zegna 3587s. I really don't know who the maker is and Zegna didn't respond to my email. I assumed Luxottica, but I have my doubts. The frame says "handmade in Italy" the way my Persols look. Any ideas?

Some nice shirts in there, but Millar? Should I be picking those up??

Confirmed at least two of my TRs were counterfeit. Exchanged them for a mountain bike for the wife -- nothing real fancy enough to get the cycle-heads here exciting; just a run of the mill recent Schwinn. The other 4 are still pending authentication, and may be used to swap for a Trek bike for me and/or 2 bar stools. None of these are things we need or that I would have spent money on but for the fact that Savers opts for simultaneous exchange rather than store credit. :cloud:

On the positive side, the Haans cleaned up very well. I look forward to wearing them.... in 10 months.

Eh, they sell them at Neiman Marcus. They're nothing special in my opinion, but I sold one for $30 once so if you're happy with that then probably worth picking up.

Sorry about the jean, there are so many fake TRs floating around, even on ebay.
