Just ordered this one from the bay. Hoping it arrives by Friday. PRL Silk POW, with blue to match the suit. So far, at $19 this is the most costly piece of the entire ensemble. But I still need shoes. What color shoes is aprpropriate to wear with a grayish dark blue suit to a wedding? I have somewhat of a selection here, but nothing that really screams "YES, Wear Me!"

This is one of those times that I'm glad that I have several pairs of black dress shoes from which to choose. Do you have any AE Park Avenues? They'd go well. if it's a daytime event, you might consider any oxford (Bal or Blucher) in walnut or chestnut for a more striking footwear presentation. The tie will look awesome!

@Grendel That snap on those Bonobos pants is the same one on all my shorts that are about 2 years old. The wild lining seems to indicate that they are indeed an older pair though. Bonobos has made a recent shift from their origins and outlandish styling in favor of mass-market appeal. It would be a good thing if they hadn't simultaneously ended their perpetual coupons and groupon-type deals. I miss the days of $20/pair Bonobos...

Ah well. My recent purchases are many many pairs of sneakers and I already have some light sand bucks...

Can anyone help me out with this headscratcher find of the day? Older Nordstrom sport coat. Great pattern, two-button, highish gorge, but unvented. Did someone sew in a loro piana tag? :puzzled:

The LP tag is just the fabric tag. Nordstrom's house brand regularly uses LP fabric for their SC's.

I understand that, I've found a couple like this. My point is the LP tag says 100% cashmere and fabric content tag in the pocket says 93 cashmere/7 silk.

Good for you Grendel, but those shoes are possibly worth it to an enthusiast/collector.
