Quick jump into a couple local Winners (discount store), love me some double and triple clearance discounted items...

Didn't realize Duchamp made pants...color is off in the pics but it's a deep purple...anyone had experience with the quality of their clothing?

Nice find with the foam roller... I need to use mine more often!

I also forgot about my non-clothing find... An Italian made stovetop espresso maker.

Shirts: Lorenzini (another first for me), Ascot Chang. Both french cuff, both 16.5x34/35, both available.
Tie: BB Makers (unavailable)

Tons of stuff left (tried a new Savers I'd never been in). A nice BB makers tie (just too beat up), VV shirt, CT shirt (mangled french cuffs), Armani Collezoni, Hickey Freeman. They love marking stuff up at Savers. Also left a NWT Ike Behar shirt in my size. First NWT item from a decent maker I've seen.

Anyone know anything about belt flipping? Passed on a Florsheim belt and a BB belt, both made in Italy, but I've never flipped a belt before. Also left this properly weird Burma Bibas shirt (looks like a very old label). Smoked MOP buttons, grey/black color, and was like 60% polyester, 40% rayon. Really odd. Good pass?

I put an alligator Coach belt on eBay that had bids on the first day of a 10 day auction, until I had to cancel it because I'd put the wrong size on the listing.

Should really go in the Ebay Questions, Tips & Tricks thread, BUT.... it's like everything. How much did you pay, how much do you want to make and how much is the item worth. If it was a $2 BB belt you cant "lose money" on it and how much do BB belts flip for...look on ebay, but I've had luck selling nice Coach Canvas/Leather Belt and a Vineyard Vines Fish Belt both for $29 along with this Dunhill belt for $60 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130788376378

Before the thread blows up....a 'rare' Brioni to compliment my 'rare' Brioni from yesterday. This one is actually growing on me the more I look at the pictures.

Again....what would you call this pattern? Right now I have "Dashed Stripe" or would "Salt & Pepper" be better?

Thanks, hucklecat, that was my first guess, too, but what about that chain inside? It looks like the hook is to hang decoratively onto maybe a button or button-hole, but the way it's constructed I don't see how it would display well. If that is the case, though, it's probably damn old, since it's been a while since people wore snuff-boxes as sartorial ornamentation. I don't think it's from the 18th century, however, because the black stuff on the inside is a solid piece of foam (maybe inserted later, anachronistically to keep the chain from scratching the box? No scratch marks visible under the foam, though.

). Definitely interesting. I've become obsessed with figuring out what it is.
A snuff box per chance?

PM sent!
picked up some stuff today...

5 pairs of aldens
10-15 etro shirts
2 gucci shirts
1 loro piana shirt
bally messenger bag.

Holy christ, Brianpore, that is so magnificent. Can just imagine that wonderful mohair levity. I would say to send it my way if it doesn't fit, but that's way out of my price range... Maybe the tux I found that almost worked out was the final straw to push you over the edge? I'd like to think so, if that beauty is what resulted.

What? Please don't, those are nice! They're so close to my size; if they would fit better, I'd definitely take them off your hands for you. No need to trash nice boots in good shape.

(^^ Oh wait, just saw the Made in Mexico... was thinking about the old, good stock.)

Haha, I like how in the photo they show this is to be used for IT band release. Ouch! Maybe it's because I'm skinny, but those rumbles look a little too big for that. Then again, I'm also wishing my foam roller were more effective...
