Is that a cigar or cxl jumper?
Details on the NST?
Hey guys, so I'm finally taking the jump into the world of Alden and buying and buying a pair of natural chrome excel Indy's and I have a sizing question. I generally wear a size 12 in Clark's desert boots and pretty much all other shoes. I tried on a pair of Indy's in a size 10.5 since the guy helping me said he sized down a full size and a half in his Indy's (and that was the biggest the store had at the time) but they were just a tad too snug. I'm debating if I should go up just a half a size to an 11 or up to an 11.5. Any kind of insight would be really helpful. Thanks!
I would have tried on a bigger pair but that was the biggest they had in store and that happens to be the only store here in Austin that stocks the Indy boot. So I'm kind of out of luck I think. Here's a radical idea: try on a larger shoe and stop when you get to one that fits well.

So you want people to guess what you mean by "a tad too snug"?
You know, buying shoes via the interweb works quite well.
Sizing shoes via the interweb, not so much.
Suck it up and order an 11 and if it doesn't fit, return it.
Shoe Mart seems to have 11d ncxl and they take returns.

Sorry for being so vague. I was just wondering what the general consensus is when it comes to sizing on Indy's. I've read on The Shoe Mart that it's about half a size down and then I ran into that guy yesterday who said he sized down a whole size and a half. I should have been a bit more concise.
