I think RTP meant they don't have a storm welt. The BB version has a flat 360 degree welt as you pointed out.Actually, they have a 360 degree welt: I have them in Black and like them a lot:

Pardon me. Thanks PapaD, that is what I meant. The flat welt gives it a sleeker/dressier look than the storm welt which you would find on the 990s and 975s.

Is the M58 a narrower last? I think I'd have to try it on to know for sure how my foot would fit.
