man, Im so bummed. I bought my lightly used alden for jcrew indy boots in my TTS size, a 8, and what do you know, half size too big. I'm not a baller like most people in this thread to buy a new pair, so if anyone has a 7.5 indy they'd like to trade or sell me, please tell me.

That is a shame. And you've tried thick socks and/or an insert to fill up some of the volume? Boots like that could theoretically work if they are a little on the large side.

yeah that sucks man. i believe every j. crew alden is on a last that recommends going a half size lower. i'm also a TTS 8, and a 7.5 in my j. crew/alden captoe's.

Those are great! Where are they from?
I believe they were a Leather Soul make-up. I bought them from somebody on here about 2 weeks ago

@Death24xASecond, nice boots! Can we get some more and better pics? You'd be surprised how few good pics they're are of this boot.

the good news is - assuming you paid a fair price - you should be able to recoup most of your money by reselling. if you patient and/or a good lister, get all of it back

Just bought cigar straight tip blucher. Now have 3 cap toes - #8 perf cap bal, black pef cap bal. Now need one ravello and one whiskey and work shoe rotation will be complete.

Nice collection of captoes. :nodding:

I like captoes. I have captoes - blucher or bal, or both - in all shell colors, save for whiskey. But I don't want a whiskey captoe.

The Alden 2259, ravello captoe blucher on the Aberdeen, is one of my favorites. It has been awhile since anyone has offered it, as far as I know.

They are the Leather Soul Cognac flex boots I ordered sometime at the beginning of last year.

Actually, I meant what shell model are you waiting for.

The cognac boots are nice.
