Alright...Indy sizing question. A ten fits me 100% spot on perfect. Unfortunately, I can't find the natural cxl in anything but a 10.5 and I'm really, really set on that shade. Anybody have experience throwing superfeet insoles in their Indys? I'm hoping that adding the black ones might make up the .5 size difference.
I would wait for a 10. In addition to missing out on the perfect fit, I've found that insoles are a hassle when you're trying to get a shoe tree in and out.

The insoles should come out before trees are inserted.

Fine pic Sazon... great shine!  What last are your cigar Indies?  Also, thanks for the lawn maintenance compliment... nicely manicured landscaping really makes my wife happy as well.

Thank your sir. These are on the trusty Trubalance last. Super comfy all day long for me and my flat feet and orthotics.

Objection.  Assumes facts not in evidence... lol.  I may agree with you if given the chance to try both and see both side-by-side.

Enjoy yours as well Seven...

And...

Just to be clear, my comments were not meant to be critical of NSTs on the Barrie. My point was simply that the NST style looks quite different when the Barrie and Aberdeen are compared. Some prefer the one. Others will prefer the other.

Thank you for the JCREW code. I had been contemplating the last pair of 10.5 color 8 LWB with crepe sole for the last few days and your promo code allowed me to pull the trigger.

note that those crepe soled lwb do not have the antiqued sole, but rather dark.

i bought a pair with the intention of resoling them to look like the offering from fransboone (at a deeper discount, as at the time, jcrew discount of 30 or 40% iirc)

Uncle, while these are fantastic, I think I like your whiskey NST from yesterday a smidge more.  Is this ravello NST on the barrie? Are your whiskey NST from yesterday on aberdeen?  Both are sublime. Wear in great health...

nephew,
thank you
the ravello is on the aberdeen last and the whiskey is on the barrie last

Any sizing insight as to how cordovan cap toe on Hampton last will fit if I'm normally EU 43 in Common Projects and 11 in all other shoes? 10.5D?

I know that that is the available line-up on TSM, but the whiskey NST from the other day looked a little narrower/sleeker than today's ravello NST. (I could certainly be wrong.)  I thought Uncle may have gotten these in different make-ups elsewhere, like Leather Sole.  I think I prefer the sleeker look of the aberdeen.  I am still without NST.  I just pulled the trigger on a couple of other shells.  Looks like NST's will have to wait a long while.

nephew,
holding out-what did you order?
the nst are one of the best models made by alden's

Thanks for the heads up on the soles. I know these were 30% off back in Nov of last year for black friday--which is a great deal.

Who knows if they ever do that again.

Insoles can also cause leather to dig into the top of your toes as well
