RK, that's a tough one. With slip-ons I think you really need to try them on. I wear aberdeen 10.5D with my medallion cap toe bluchers, but my tassel mocs are a bit too loose (heel slip) in the same size. I had to use tongue pads to fix. 10D would have been too tight and short. Try some on if possible.

Good luck my friend!

Thanks RTP! I agree there is no substitute for getting your feet in. Thanks for the advice.

Re-visiting from last week...since the Thor boot hasn't been confirmed by Alden DC yet, we're trying to get a suede Indy made in the meantime. This will probably get confirmed and produced before we ever hear back about the Thor boot. Here's a quick breakdown of what it will look like, and if you're interested you can click on the Google Doc link below to cast your votes for what you would like to see in this makeup, and you can follow the progress in this thread:

Indy boot
Plaza last
Dark brown (chocolate) suede
All eyelets
Commando sole
Antique edge trim
Pull tab?
360 vs 270 welt
Matched vs Brass eyelets

I wish to seek forum member advice on sizing. I am a 11D on the LWB (Barrie) and 11.5D on the NST (Aberdeen) and Perf cap toe (Hampton). What size do you think I should order for tassel loafers (Aberdeen again). I thank you for your words your advice.
FWIW:

9C Van, Barrie
9D Tassel, Hampton

Tassel and Perf Cap Toe reflect great taste IMO.

2160 straight tip (from BB). Wearing them with a summer weight olive suit. I raised my pants a little in one of the pix. Indoor flash.

Most of us in the e coast have lived with 30-80% rain chances the past week. Today I took a chance at 30% rain chances. As I type this, there is a decent rain shower passing through

Just fixed an error that wasn't allowing other users to edit the doc, and also added a column at the end to input your size.

Question for Indy owners , I asked about it's comfort before , but is the Neocork sole flexile? Similar to the flexwelt or is it stiff as a double leather one?

Thanks.

I would say it's between the two, but closer to the flex. Neocork is very easy and flexible compared to double leather.

I posted this in the MTO Alden DC thread and I thought I would post it here too. I have a makeup in mind and was wondering if anyone might be interested.

Let me know what you think:

-Chromexcel perforated captoe boot
-grant last
-360 degree flat welt
-double leather waterlock sole
-goodyear rubber heel
-all eyelets

Do members on the forum prefer Alden's Aberdeen last or Alden for BBs Snap last for the straight tip blucher (cap toes)?
And how do these lasts compare on sizing (to each other)?
Appreciate your help.

Very nice. Captoe blucher shoes are not common on this thread.
