Alden of SF has a black PT shell boot on the barrie with commando. Dark eyelets and speedhooks. More versatile, IMO

Did any of you pick up the Leffot Tobacco Chamois Daytrippers? I'm pretty sure the first batch dropped a little while ago but I don't recall anyone on here mentioning receiving them. I feel like this thread eats up a lot of make ups before they ever see the light of day so someone out there has to have some, yeah?

Additionally, if anyone ended up with a pair in 10D which they don't want, I will gladly take them off your hands.

Got a pair in 11D. Only tried on so far. Hopefully will be introduced to the closet soon.

I was lucky enough to get in on those Alt Wien boots, but not the Ryden. I may go with the Alden of San Fran all black plain toe for my first black shell boots.

Alden Ravello Leisure Hand-Sewn Penny Loafer. It is very nice to be back home once again. Graphite Chinos from Gustin. Should I keep them unhemmed and rolled like this is should I do a formal cuff on them?

Happy Sunday!

I might try to come out to say hi. Besides I wouldn't want to miss Dave's scotch tasting.

Sorry to hear it. I hope you're not trying to find 10s...

I'm sad that I can only wear LHS for 6 months of the year!

I'd cuff those chinos or, get them hemmed to a clean break.

Hey saz, you're absolutely correct about versatility of that boot but I don't think the purpose of the Ryden shitkicker boot included versatility as any of its goals.  In my opinion, it was to make a very certain statement --- I kick sh$t!!

I agree. Out of all the alden boots, I have got to say that they are the most bada$$, with cigar indys being a close second.

Ha! I am already going there tomorrow. I was debating it cause I kind of like the casual look provided by the Mike rolled cuff, but I suppose that I should clean them up. They are Chinos, not Denim. :-)

Great combo today dubs. The ravello color is excellent.
I wouldn't roll or cuff, I don't like extra fabric covering up alden shell.
