I have the brown reverse oiled chamois pitt boots and I wear them probably 3-4 days a week. I'm wearing them now. There's no issue with comfort for me and I think they look and feel great. I work in DC and do a bit of walking around the streets by the office.

Sherman Brothers is having a 15% off sale their entire store with the code HOT2010. They have a good selection of Aldens, including these 8 shell cordovan cap-toes in limited sizing. Was going to grab a pair for myself but they are out of my size. I might just grab a pair of unlined chukkas instead.

If you have these in 9D (Trubalance Jumper Boots) and you absolutely hate it (chances are slim, I know). Give me a shout and I'd love to lessen your burden. Thanks

just got my roys in today, simply amazing boots. I had a few concerns, though, since these are my very first pair of aldens. 1) a slight seperation on the sole, might be nothing, but its not on the other side or on the other shoe. Im hoping it wont be a problem down the line. 2)a slight perforaton on the back of both shoes. I'm sure its from production but just putting it here to make sure it isnt abnormal or a potential problem. pardon the pictures, couldnt wait to take these pictures and put them up and the iphone is all i have around here.

The hole on the heel area is on every pair of Aldens from tacking in the upper to the last during the lasting process. Some are hidden better than others.
