I think I may have increased my mileage too soon.
My knee hasn't gotten any better with 3 days rest. I will be seeing an Orothopedist next week.

6.3 miles in 41:56 last night - in rather cold conditions, and it's going to be even colder tonight.

^^That sucks, I took a bad spill a couple of weeks ago and had to limp back home for ~4 miles.

^^ i once caught my foot in the loop of the opposite shoelace while running... completely took my feet out from under me and sent me crashing to the street. luckily it was during the winter so i was wearing tights, long sleeves, and gloves, so i only ended up with minimal scraping. I felt like an idiot though.

anyway, ran 5.6 miles today in 36:57.

Three miles--very slowly. Fresh snow, slippery conditions. Temperature, 20 degrees.

Five miles. Snow and ice on the roadway. Treading very carefully! Temperature, 30 degrees. But no wind! (I can live with that!)
