okay, stoopid n00b question, i know. but...

I soaked my raw, sanfordized jeans the other day and they shrunk a little. I like the way they fit now, but am worried about them stretching back out. Can I periodically(say every 2 months) soak them the same way I did before wearing them, without any problems? I know they will shrink back down with a washing too, but I wanted to know if soaking them would be safe after months of wear. I've heard of people soaking them after a few months wear and the whiskers get all messed up, but that was when they didn't soak them in the beginning. This won't happen if I've already soaked them right? they will shrink down to the size they were after the first soak with no problems?

Yes.

Creases are hard to lose once they're set. I once had a pair thrown in a washing machine and then accidentally ironed but you'd never guess it after a few wears.

Do the Nudie Slim Jim Organic Dry Ecru Embos stretch/fade very well? They seem rather elastic, and I've heard they don't fade as much as the other fabrics.

I'm asking this to see what really makes a pair of denim jeans very well constructed. Thanks in advance.

I am thinking about buying some used APC NS that have been cold soaked and worn a couple dozen times with very little fading. Would it be a good idea to lightly wash or cold soak them so that they shrink up a bit and re-stretch to my body (also don't really want to wear someone else's ball-sweat)? Or, should I just start wearing them? I hope to get decent fading over time, but I'm not going to be hard core about never washing them either.

Soak them.
