calling the customer service line

82 degrees outside. Time for Lauderdales.

Matt--I would try calling customer service. I'll do the same for my situation within the next few days. Will post the outcome.

I'm about to head home to my 12B walnut Strands that are sitting on the porch that Nordstrom exchanged no questions asked.  That place is a godsend.

Those are sweet. How old is that model? I have the Shreveport, but I like the ones with less weave. I think it's the New Orleans I'm thinking of. These look similar to that.

^ What they said.

I called yesterday about my poorly fitting SMU shell Bartletts (I was sized at an AE store) that I wore around a couple times to see if they'd get any better and they gave me a shipping label to send them in.

I try to tell folks, but they typically won't listen. Thanks for posting the pic. Those look outstanding.

My feet in these new 12Bs. What do you all think of the fit, particularly where the break is on my left (1/4 size shorter) foot?

Can't tell you how good it feels to have a good fit in my mid foot / arch after having worn shoes too wide my whole life.

  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thank you. I really like them. The Lauderdale was discontinued in Feb 2005. It is nearly identical to the New Orleans in external appearance. The Lauderdale does not have any perfing details. The New Orleans has perfing across the end of the toe cap and along the bottom of the solid side panel. The New Orleans was built on the 222 last and the Lauderdale built on the 234 last (I think. The style number ends in a 4.) One would really have to know both shoes to tell the difference.

We're in the middle of a blizzard, so my Shreveports will stay in the box for a while longer.

Hypothetically speaking....
Let's say you're browsing the Bay, and see a pair of walnut First Avenue boots in your size have just been listed. From the pictures, the wear on the sole looks like they were worn maybe two times. With a low starting bid and a buy-it-now of $38.50....
Hypothetically speaking, of course.

What size are these... hypothetically.
