Shameless pimping trying to help get a C&J GMTO done. We only need a few more.

Imagine this in brown cordovan (probably with no medallion).

Current exchange rate puts them at under $800.
Crockett & Jones cordovan for Alden money should be a no brainer.
Also, new trade legislation goes into effect the 10th (I think) raising duty free amount to $800.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if it was a regular Coniston boot in brown shell. I'm not a big fan of broguing.

Try checking out the Grant Loafers that Madison has. They have it in a NST and a hand stitched apron style. It's a beautiful loafer that may work for those that the Aberdeen doesn't.

I can wear an Aberdeen lace up, just not the loafers. The Copley last pennies work a treat for me. I'll check out Madison - thanks!

Ha! Yeah, I made a spreadsheet to track my inventory and usage to theoretically try and help my purchasing decisions. It honestly hasn't helped me all that much as I am pretty sure anyone here could have guessed.

I don't have a copy on my phone. It should be in my photos that I uploaded to the original Alden thread.

Hah, thanks guys! The LHS is a great shoe and a terrific Sunday getup. I don't know what color is my favorite on the LHS, but those Cigars make a pretty compelling case. I am very fortunate to have all of the colors now as I will be adding a Color 8 back into the rotation probably next week. Someday I hope to find a 10C Black and 8 Unlined pair as well.
