I just put in order #3.

This time I made about 5 minor tweaks... if I get half of them done right, and everything else is executed like before, I'll be pleased.

What is the best way to send back adjusted measurements for a second shirt? The order form isn't really laid out to send instructions like take an inch of the chest, add an inch to the hips etc. Thanks.

I add in my tweaks on the form. E.g, "+0.5 inches" in the box for hips. I have also done this via email.

YMMV. A lot.

The fabric quality is definitely the worst part about Jantzen, but; they're $45 shirts made exactly how you want them. They are of noticeably lesser quality than my Ralph Lauren Purple and Black label shirts, but they're still suitable for everyday workhorse clothing considering the the price and fit. I wouldn't wear one of them if I was trying to dress to the nines, but especially for going out to bars wear you might get something spilled on you it's awesome to be able to get a perfectly fitting shirt that you aren't worried about ruining. The buttons are actually very good for the price.

I do wish I could have the option to pay $20-30 more for higher quality fabrics. At least if you visit in the person, you may be able to determine the varying quality of what they have, but over the internet looking at a square inch stock photo of the fabric it's a little hard to know what you're getting.

I agree, but if you throw 1 out of 5 Jantzen shirts away, its still a bargain.

Order #2 for me:

Ordered 6/24
Confirmed 6/30
Received 7/18

Shipped to Northern California.

As my second shirt, I think that this one is much better than the first (although the first is very wearable, and fits me better than any other OTR shirt that I have had darted, or otherwise taken in) I am loving my first shirt more and more, after each washing. The fabric has gotten a bit softer and the shrinkage I think is helping out.

Ordered June 28th.

Received on July 19th.

Not too shabby. The fit is absolutely excellent for a first try. They nailed the back darts, the spread collar...EVERYTHING. The neck is a wee bit too tight, but since I don't wear ties too often, it's no big deal.

For those concerned with pattern matching, I ordered a checked shirt and gave it the once over....everything matches up just about perfectly.

I'm too lazy to post fit pics, I'll try to get around to it...

My Jantzen came in today: ordered June 29th - recieved West Coast of Canada July 21st.

This is my first order, the fabric was better then expected (more suited for a button down then a true dress shirt though) the fit was overall too tight. I order again, but Jantzen will be more of a secondary supplier of shirts. Once it is washed and iron I will post a picture.

Ordered 24 June, confirmed 30 June, showed up today.

Seem to have finally nailed the pattern, but those weird sand star / toggle buttons kind of suck. What's worse, I ordered a button down, and the little collar buttons lack a pattern, and so look like little pearls.

Great fit. I'll leave it to the experts to nit-pick but it it looks great overall. What shirt fitting ("Shade of Cut") did you pick? Also, did you ask for higher armholes or does that just happen naturally with slimmer arms?

The fit does look good, but there sure is a lot of puckering on the seams. Is this normal on Jantzen shirts?
