Have the fairisle fleece jacket coming in from @Portland Dry Goods. FW EG is making me go broke. I didn't even know there was a fairisle jacket this season, thought it was only the hooded coat.

Size small right? I was hoping you would choose the homespun instead haha. Please report back on the sizing and fit when you get it as I believe we are the same size in most things. I wasn't sure if sizing up on this pieces was in order or not.

Not to creep too much, but you are moving to Seattle, right @eluther ?

I know several others are from around Seattle... would be pretty fun to have an EG meetup here sometime like the one y'all posted about a couple pages ago.

Yes, long Dayton in eggshell/ tattersall at Woodlands. Shipment came in today. Both stores (Portland and Tanner Goods/ LA) will carry EG. This is their first season. They have a few of the regular shirts, fatigues in olive. No Bedford or other jacket (Surprisingly) from what I was told on the phone.

On CPO, I thought it fits a bit tight (homespun version) so for me, I would size up. However, if you wear shirts in S and Bedfords in M, you might be fine with M in CPO.

Guys, please post pics of that fairisle knit/ jacket. So far, I am not warming up to it, but that might be more a camera thing than the piece itself? So would love to see more of it.

haha I had a real hard time deciding. But... I figured I might be able to snag a brown homespun sometime down the road in the secondhand market, and that the chance of finding the fairisle was much slimmer. Not sure who else is even stocking the jacket.

I'll let you know the sizing. It sounds like sizing up is unnecessary, though.

Guys, embarrassing question, but here goes, is 36 the largest waist size that EG pants can be found in?

I haven't seen a larger size available to order off their order sheets.
However, the fatigue pants / shorts have measured a 37" and lafayette pants / shorts have measured a 39" in the past.
Also the current E-1 Pant in XL measures a 39" for the most part.
If you're looking for a larger coat, the highland parka runs really large... as in i wear an XL in most EG and sometimes a L, but fit a Small in that piece.

Hope that helps!

Yeah! That would be great. I'll hit you up once I'm actually up there and figure something out.

Not embarrassing at all man. I am in the same boat. The workaday line runs big in my opinion, I sized up to an XL in the type 41 chinos, and I'd guess they measure 38" waist before wash. I washed/dried on warm and got them to a 36.5" waist. By far my favorite pair of EG pants I own. The fit is perfect.

Thanks, guys I guess I will have to be on the lookout for their larger sizes, and check the measurements. I need about a 37/38 waist.

XL fatigue pants should work good for you - from the workaday line. The type 41 khakis in XL - from the workaday line should also be good. Be aware, they are both mid to high rise pants, so they can take a bit of getting used to. Also, The Bureau Belfast stocks some EG pants in a 38 waist - it sucks to pay more due to the currency conversion - but they have pretty good sales sometimes.

Just picked up the Dayton from Woodlands OR - looks like we're going to be twins, uncle. Went TTS - good call. For pants, I say khakis or olive. Looks OK with jeans.
Hold, you are already in Portland? Did you stop by Big Sur? Still heading to Yosemite? Your trip should be named the "EG Kopping Retrospective 2014".

Despite the identical clothes, I doubt that anybody in here will mistake us for twins. But thank you, nephew. Wear in good health!
