Those jeans look a bit too tight around the crotch/thigh area, no?

Also, I don't really think that jacket & square work at all with those jeans, sorry. The turtleneck itself is nice though.

These kinds of yellow/green/brown shades are damn difficult to pull off. They can easily look a bit sickly. I'm not 100% convined you've managed it, but it's a brave attempt. The sunglasses are cool, too. On a non-clothes note, it's fun that you managed to find a backdrop with graffiti in the same colour family!

SvB, I really like that fit...minus the turtleneck. I despise them! Anywho, carry on...

Nah, I had just pulled them on and they sat a little high until they settled. They aren't tight at all. Thanks for the opinions on my other stuff, though! I haven't run into anyone who has liked most of what I put together on SF, so I have no tears left to cry.

Forgive the ongoing digression too, but I'm not so sure about traditions like this work in quite the same culturally-transmitted/normative/memetic way they used to. We have so much active choice/awareness about our actions today (probably due to living in a more atomised society) that the act of wearing a Remembrance poppy these days is very much an active, conscious choice, even if like you or I, we began wearing them from a young age in a less conscious way. Perhaps not for all, admittedly, but from your posts, I think you think clearly enough about what you do that it cannot be entirely down to tradition.

Anyway, turtlenecks...

1) I am no longer in my own top three. Bastards.

2) If ever there were a neck crying out to be turtlerolled, it's SVB's.

3) Linen scarves, WTF? A light scarf can be supremely functional. You can be warm without donning heavier clothing, so you can be dressed for the day and transition into a cooler evening with just that one item. Seems logical that a lighter scarf would be appropriate for just a bit of warming, no?

4) TASSEKS!

Please strike from the record if the following is deemed to loose an interpretation to qualify.

Even crew-necks feel constricting to me, so this is about as close as I get to turtleneck territory.

In which the subject admits that he has little to no concept of how to wear orange pants (pents?) beyond the basic mechanics of putting them on and buttoning them.
