I saw a picture of @Cleav rocking a black turtleneck with tweed trousers and black shoes, without the jacket. Instead of appearing on his Instagram, I found it on a website featuring an article he had written. (Upload it, Cleav! ) Very impressive. I have never considered a turtle neck until that moment. It works better without the jacket for me.

Oh right, had forgotten that the winner is supposed to come up with the next one. I assume I also create the new thread and share it in the appropiate threads? What are the norms for when to start the thread, how long it's open and how long the voting lasts thereafter?

Someone suggested to me a twist on the album cover challenge, though rather than focusing on the aestethics of the cover you'd match the vibe of the outfit with the vibe of any chosen song. Everyone would preferably also include a small blurb explaining one's thoughts behind the vibe/song/outfit. If that's too complicated we could also do an old favorite of mine, the "Villain" challenge. Opinions?

Yes, create a new thread and announce it in the relevant threads (don't be afraid to advertise broadly). Since the remake of SF the challenge and the voting are easier to do in different threads (like in this challenge).

From the beginning the challenges were usually once a week so the thread should start early in the week and end on the Sunday. However that wasn't really sustainable and interest faded. On the other hand a challenge should not run for a very long period either because then people forget. Timing depend a lot on the complexity of the challenge. A simpler challenge doesn't need a lot of preparation, but some needs planning. In general I would suggest around two weeks. In this case since we are coming close to the holidays I would suggest that you get the challenge up pretty quickly. Maybe you also have to extend the period a little to run over christmas. Voting should not be open for more than a few days really.

Otherwise my best advice is to be clear in the set-up of the challenge what you want. Is it open for both CM and SW&D, are there things that have to be in there, things that are not allowed etc. If you can post pictures for inspiration that is always appreciated.

Personally everything related to music is always attractive, but that's just me.

Well 'the villain' has been done one and a half year ago; 'the album cover' only a few weeks ago, and your 'twist' on it sounds a bit complicated imho. If you want an advice : try to be more creative and do something that hasn't been done before.
