Well made in Italy dress shirts with good fabrics at $100 retail just can't compute. Anyone who had shirts made in Alumo, Grandi/Rubinelli or Albini fabrics knows how much the shirting alone costs. Add decent wages, transport, duties, etc.. and it is simply not a reality.

There are other places on the internet to buy $100 shirts - and it's great, they're needed. But this is not really what we're about.

I actually think our Inglese shirts are incredible value for all the work and quality materials that go into them.

Personally I would like more Mazzarelli's - I haven't been as active in this thread as I once was so I don't know if this is planned or not but I love the 4 that I have and would love to double up.

There will be no more Mazzarelli in our store. Just want to clarify that.

More of the Merz sweatshirts would be fantastic. It took me a while to give them a try, but I'm on the Merz train now. I suppose you can find them other places online, but I'd love to see more colors carried by NMWA (you'd be guaranteed to sell a size 6 in each color).

In Stitches, I've been meaning to tell you that I really did try to find your most recent awesome fit in WAYWRN and thumb it... I really did look.

Incidentally, I ran across these amazing shots of what I take to be the Chairman of Baltimore Consolidated Biscuit in his secret loft lair. He appears to be contemplating his next audacious corporate raid, one that will tighten further his already vice-like grip on the Monument City's bread and snacks suppliers.

Anyway, that guy has a serious big boss suit on with a great tie and PS. You should check it out. A real inspiration.

You definitely need to post a fit when you get that stitchy; been debating that one myself

Will probably be a while, every bit of a week or two, but will do for sure.

That sounds beyond glorious. I will have to find the post, and the gentleman in question.

how did you size the Merz stuff? My jackets are 19" shoulder width and 22 pit to pit. 5"10 190 with big shoulders so the arms are usually long to accommodate the shoulder width i have. Any advice?

thx

I sized up to what I would typically consider myself. I'm a medium in Inis and Oliver Spencer, between a 48 and 50 in Formosa, a 50 in Eidos, a 52 in LBM, and I'm a 6 (Large) in the Merz stuff. I'm 5'11", 170 lbs (shoulders are ~18"), and the sweatshirt I could have done a 5 in the body (if I wanted it to be slim fitting), but not the shoulders, for the henley t-shirts I'm definitely a 6, though they are a bit long in the body. It sounds like for the chest you are a 6 or 7 (L or XL) and shoulders a 7.

Here is the 6 Merz sweatshirt:
