Alright....we had one miserable outcome in October, probably the worst outcome in NPC history.
I myself, was self-tossed into the great void....so this is a chance for redemption.
Also, an opportunity for those who haven't tried our small club as yet.

Who among you are willing now, until half-way through December to stop the madness?
Welcome to the ....

2012 SAVE FOR CHRISTMAS CLUB (NPC NOV-DEC Special Edition)

Start Date: Tuesday November 06, 2012
End Date: Sunday December 16, 2012 11:59:59 pm (your time)

Rules Of Engagement
These 2 rules are simplicity itself....

01. For the duration of the challenge, you will not spend even one cent for yourself on any clothing or clothing-related items.
02. During the challenge, you will perform (and if possible, post photos of) repair work to your existing clothes, shoes, accessories.

Optional:
You are encouraged (but not required by this challenge) to set aside item(s) of your wardrobe which are still in good and serviceable condition (or still useful) that you no longer are in need of, and summarily donate them to whomever or wherever you feel appropriate.
This is something you do for yourself and must not be reported in this thread. It is an act of philanthropy on your part.
I thankfully trust that many of us already donate items on a regular basis, but I especially appeal to those of you who may not have yet experienced the joys of giving in this manner to try this. To know that you are helping those less fortunate than yourself will give you a wonderful and enduring fuzzy feeling inside.

There will be no 'Emergency Fund' for this challenge. You simply must make due with what you already have for this challenge.
No excuses. No exceptions. It is time now to buckle down and prepare for the Christmas season.

This is the most important challenge of the year, so give this a good try and I wish you all success during these next 6 weeks.
Ready? Let's do this!.....Arrrrgggghhhhhhh :nodding::embar::uhoh::hide::cry::fistbump:

I would again like to encourage all of you who are not yet Styleforum members to take a minute and sign up to our wonderful forum or at least take the challenge from afar.

....and I am officially IN.

After a $3000+ October (I fell off the wagon hard towards the end), I am in. And also convinced that I need this.

Had my fist near miss. I actually had gotten as far as the "review offer" on eBay before holding back.

Already starting strong. Resisted one pair of Alden x J. Crew longwings, Alden LHS, Carmina boots.

Will fail tomorrow though since Epaulet releases their Blackwatch trousers, nothing I can do about it as I NEEEEEEEEED them.

But they will be around in 6 weeks. Just go pantless until then. Sure you may be arrested for public nudity, but you'll get the MoL stamp of approval, and you can put that where ever you want.

Except they won't be around in 6 weeks. 34 in Epaulet sells out quick, some within hours
