So who wears it better? Maybe we should make a poll. fight[1].gif

i say UC send that rig over to me, i think i could give them both a run for their money. for the integrity of the suit i think that is really what needs to be done.

Me? No, it wasn't mine. I just remembered that pic from some years ago here, and I'm guessing it's the same suit.

That's a tough one. My vote would go to Parker: I prefer his hankie.

Stitchy, I think that tie is maybe a bit fall-ish for the weather we've been having of late...

I like the tie itself, and that's a good color combo IMO. Just not sure about the choice of season in which you are wearing it.

thanks, mang. the tie is unlined and super light, and i thought the colors were bright and light, just for summer. but, i am known to be wrong about these things.

Looks wool though? I think pretty much any wool checked tie is instantly a F/W tie, regardless of lining, tipping etc which are all just personal preferences really. Even if it's silk, houndstooth is still what I consider a colder weather check.

It's definitely a F/W tie, but it is not enough of one to prevent you from successfully wearing it in summer.

I quite like the whole combination, but for the (colour) of the shoes. That distracts me. I'd suggest either a darker brown or a more 'yellow' brown, i.e. burnt pine as opposed to chestnut.

I really like that fit stitch. I don't think that the wool tie seems all that "wooly" from the full fit shot, so to my eyes it looks more like a late summer/early fall tie. But it fits really good with the rest of the fit. Though I'd like the pants to be a tad lighter.

I especially like how you have picked up the color in your shoes with the beard. I am on the fence about them maybe being a bit matchy, but I think it gives the whole fit a coordinated look. laugh.gif

givin it the old college try.

shirt is blue. full fit better demonstrates the blue shirt, close better demonstrates the true tie color and contrast.

I'd say that's in good taste. You might want to mention that the shirt is blue though, it looks white on this pic.

The transparent pocket square really ties everything together.
