This is my first message although I've read a lot of posts on this site and have been very impressed.

There are people here that i have a huge respect, your knowledge is admirable. I thought it par for the course to post my own message and get your expert opinion!

Like a lot of gents I believe that great style begins with your shoes. I realise there are lots of messages about shoes and C&J here, but I never seem to tire of learning more about the subject.

Would anyone know about the following shoe?

I believe it is the C&J Weymouth but without the floating medalion. Could anyone shed light on the matter?

Also I would be interested in knowing your top five shoes in ranking order, shoes you own or are on your wish list. Feel free to add pictures and links to your favourite!

All the best

I don't see the looped stitching on the upper of a Balmuir. Could be mistaken, though. I'd say w/o this stitching, the Alex model,348. Bench grade. Current catalogue. I'll defer to those more in the know, however.
