Not sure if this is national or not, but I was just at
Macy's this evening and saw that they have either
a navy Ralph Lauren or Michael Kors blazer 40%
off + an extra 25% for their upcoming pre-sale.

I believe the after discounts the RL was about $25
more than the Michael Kors.

wanted to get some input and see, which would be
a better purchase.

Michael Kors -- as a man, as a brand, certainly as a 'designer' -- is awful, to put it kindly.

On the other hand, that's not 'real' Ralph Lauren.

Both are terrible. And Lauren by Ralph Lauren is a mall licensed branded item. Not actually made by Ralph Lauren

LRL is made by peerless in canada.

neither are good quality, but if you have no other choice, i'd go with the LRL

Ahh thanks for all the replies. I did not know that it was RL

Does anyone have a recommendation for a slim navy blazer?

Brooks Brothers has their 25% event going until Saturday or Sunday. The Fitzgerald cut is at least as slim as the jackets you linked.

Why not try Anderson Little? I have no experience with them but it seems like a good option.
I've read good things about them, but have yet to see any real good pictures of the fit.
everything i've seen looks really boxy. thx for the suggestion
