I like the colours of the fit a lot. If wearing shoes sockless is causing blistering, then rather than finding a co-ordinating plaster, I'd just prefer to wear socks. :)

I don't come into this thread very often, but today started off being a very unremarkable casual look that then had to be smartened up at the last moment to go do a little unexpected work in a nice part of the county. With the addition of the jacket, I figure it's material for this waywrn rather than any of the others. I expect flames from Hell for a blazer-over-polo look (though funnily enough, it's a pretty common look for where I was); don't say I never do anything to keep you entertained!

I think it looks really good, Holdfast. this could have gone horribly wrong, but the solids create a strong graphic effect, the colors work well together and everyting obviously fits well. To me, the chukka boot is the coup d'etat as it is both smart and sporty, where a boat shoe, loafer or god forbid, driving moc, would take it too far into Casual Catalog Land and make us all very sad.

Yes, they are two days old so I wanted to wait a week or so to break them in before I take them to the tailor.

There's no need for rash decisions son. Now just roll down your jeans and take a step away from the shears.
