I like the less is more look.

Looks to me like you are wearing your pants a touch high though, I think a higher rise would suit your frame more appropriately.  Good fit on the shirt and in the legs of the trousers.

Thanks Everett, I think I pulled up my pants to lessen the break...Anyhow, I never really took rise into consideration but I guess it would help balance out my proportions since I'm so tall

Enjoying what's probably the last cool day of the Chicago summer.

Is this a joke? It's 80 degrees and sunny in Chicago today and you're wearing a sweater and a jacket?

It was cool this morning, particularly out on my porch, where it's shady and breezy. I've since ditched the jacket, and the sweater vest is a light cotton-linen blend. Unfortunately, even my lovely porch won't be able to protect me from the weather that's coming up...

I hear you. Not looking forward to Thursday.

Thanks, Holdfast! I only started my blog a couple of months ago and I'm now carrying a camera with me at all times. It's pretty fun and relaxing to take pics. Here are some older ones. I usually have a couple of detailed shots in my blog for the respective entry.

Liam, this looks like a very practical jacket collar. Pulls so much that you can store your groceries and wallet back there.

Is Marcellus still happy that Zed is dead btw?

Not sure I catch your meaning on the first part, and don't know enough about jazz to answer the second.

He means that there is a significant gap between the collar of your jacket and the collar of your shirt. Not something everybody notices but when you do it will make you uncomfortable to see.

in the city today, getting a jacket made and getting some work done.

oh boy. I can't decide which one of these pictures I like more. the mirror pic taken with an ipad or the pensive look in this royal with cheese lifestyle picture...

Yeah, didn't know that's what that is called, thanks for actually saying something useful.

I'm not sure whether that's a fit issue or that this is the first time I've taken this jacket off a hanger and worn it... I'll give it a few more wears and if not I guess I'll see if my tailor can do anything about it, assuming its fixable.

All trousers except for the 2nd picture are from Epaulet. The first one was a special order.
