Hey I'm thinking of doing a Guidi custom order via PNP.
Will go for the 995, but I'm still hesitating on the leather. I don't want a leather which is shinny (prefer reversed) and I want something that won't take a weird shape with some wearing (like I swa on some donkey/calf version toe box :/)
Which one is the "best" do you think ? Heard reversed pig was really good, and i kinda like the reversed horse too. Any idea ? :)

Thanks

reverse horse and make sure there is a toe cap to avoid weird shapes (if model says "ms" = no toe cap)

1000

1000

I really like those and I wasn't such a small timer would kop and just wear sockless through the winter.

Forget snow boots and what now (If I lived in such weather conditions), these will do.

nah.

because zip boots need to be tight by the shape alone - you can't tighten them with laces. When you have a shearling lining it's naturally padded, so it can't be naturally tight. Without laces you'd never get a good fit.

Aside from that, shearling lining is something you want on a true winter boot. I never really thought of side zips as true winter (read:snow, slush etc) boots.

IMO.

I picked up a pair of the shearling-lined acne pilot boots a couple of weeks ago (front zip). I'm hoping that with some sno-seal and a rubber sole they'll be excellent in the cold and damp. Haven't gotten a chance to wear them yet (still way, way too hot outside), but I have a good feeling about them.
