Are MMM shoes worth full retail? I've been looking for a clean boot with this exact shape for months now. 940 bones though... there might be a non-baller alternative.

Those classic plain black ones rarely make it to the sales, but other variations certainly do.

I like the mmm sidezips but 900 is a lot tho, considering what you can get in the second hand market for that money. But if you like them more so than a1933, ma+ and etc then go for it. If you look long enough they wind up on eBay or b&s once in awhile, tho.

Don't MMM sidezips have glued soles :uhoh:

Pretty sure almost all do, along with some quality corrected grain leather

There are always plain black ones on yoox in the preview or once they come out. They usually sell within a week or so but it's there

Maybe in certain people's minds. i find the the heel is weird (looks like a cuban heel) and color style reminds me of sneakers. I'd say these fall in the redwings/viberg/wolverine category which is fine but i think it misses the general aesthetic of this thread. Scroll back a few pages and you'll see what people like here. I'd say a shell cordovan alden would fit this thread better than the white's boots.

Please stop discouraging people from posting shoes that you don't like in this thread. Just because they're not the typical aesthetic that's posted here doesn't mean they shouldn't be posted.

I like the mmm shape and overall design the best out of any boot in the <500$ range. I also haven't had any problems with the quality, but I don't use them to kick **** either.
That said, full retail of 900$ is probably not worth it as you can get the shoes mentioned in this thread secondhand/on sale. So if ya want them, yoox or being patient with ebay and b&s is the best bet. The waiting is part of the game.
