baby calf
thin and soft.

kangaroo
thin and strong.

soft horse
thick and soft.

horse
thick and a little more stiff, not so soft but not super stiff (like A1923).

bison
thick and also a little more stiff, but not super stiff.

This was from Holger of hide-m, have been in contact recently about a custom order of 988's.
Either that or save up a bit more and get those Augusta double zips.
But the idea of making me own scars and creases on some Guidi horse entices me.

Anyone know which leather type takes in color the best? And I am under the impression that reverse is available for all the types of leather only difference being that it has more texture, both visually and in hand, and also takes color the best as it more like a sponge as described to me. In time, the leather in general will darker right? So, photo 2 will eventually turn into photo 1 during the aging process?

Sartorialoft has a new website where they have pics and prices. Was at the store yesterday and saw some great stuff.... Highly recommend David and Oliver as they are great to deal with!

Are those the Augusta double-zips? If so how are they breaking in? In store they seemed super stiff.

handled these at the archive and they are good construction, but idk how they can slap an almost 2k pricetag on those (http://archivesf.com/archivesf_item/devoa-backzip-boots/)

things are plain ugly

the a1923 on the other hand had much less scaring than shown in pics below and were really nice

i'd like to see some or more pics & discussion of what people are wearing with their boots, derbies,etc... (pants, jeans, tops, leathers, whatever really)

All I'm wearing right now is the dead end jean and IE pant w/ some dior 19cm mixed in. I could probably live in the IE pant, love it. :) Eyeing the grey selvedge LUC curved inseam pant at the moment too.

Scarstitch code is LM2498 HOIL-PTC/1010 Male 2009.

Looking to get High neck jacket in size 48 also in same colorway. That jacket got me on CCP within the last month bought Dead End jeans and derbies.

Yes, they were super stiff at first but nothing too uncomfortable.

Does anyone handed M.A.+ jeans? How do they fit size wise?

Once you start......;-)

I've got the exact same jacket. Same leather. Same size (48). Amazing piece.

I've also got the high neck in bison 19. Its the favourite of my CCP leathers...FYI, I sized down to a sz46. The sz48 swamped me.
