So I downloaded evangelion the other night to watch over break. Looking forward to being a huge nerd and binging on anime I guess. while wearing baller boots / shoes. Maybe I need to break out my Jil creeprs again soon? Need to get them resoled, but I don't trust anyone around here to do it.

I remember I picked up those first boots (the Jodhpurs) from Yoox of all places about 2 years ago for about $850. They were pretty nice, but (surprise) didn't fit, so I sent them back.

Wow this thread has gotten intense.

2 Things:


1. Long time no talk. As you guys know I've had a lot of baller boots, gotta say for $150 (got them on sale at Bluefly), I picked up a pair of Varvatos 'Six o Six' and they turned out not too bad. Have worn them at least 50 times and still doing pretty good. Just an option for the guys looking for cheaper alternatives, but by NO MEANS are these up to par with the big boys whatsoever, so don't remotely expect that.

2. Has anybody handled MA+ lately? Has his quality went down as he's been getting more publicity or has it remained same/construction possibly gotten better? Curious as I was eyeing a pair.

same old, quality of construction is straddling good to great (i.e. nothing to shout about for that $$$), quality of leather is IMO excellent.
