someone in us9.5 needs to jump on these boots saddle/scotchgrain boots at only $450

Alas, they are my size but I don't like how they look. I almost feel compelled to buy them based solely on price but even then I can't justify it because I really don't like how they look. IF I was still trying to build my shoe wardrobe I may have been interested but as it now I have plenty to wear and don't really need anything.

These are my size and I DO like the look precisely because they are a bit different. My shoe wardrobe is pretty well stocked with safe selections - this one would be pure fun. I'm just not confident enough in the fit of the Forest last, with which I have no experience. UK8.5 in Rain fits me perfectly.

I have boots on both the rain and the forest in UK 9 and I find the fit pretty similar. I have more room in the toe box with the forest, but otherwise, both boots fit the same from the heel to the forefoot.

rain and forest are pretty much an identical fit in terms of width. the toe height is a slightly more generous for forest as the rain is slopped whereas forest is not.

Can Carmina make an unlined plain toe Blucher? Alden is known for theirs but only come in #8 shell and black shell.

Would be great to see a Carmina navy or cognac make up

I'm so jealous you got to see the store in person. I'm such a Carmina whore, I think I'd sport wood the whole time I'm in the store. LOL!

This is a good idea, especially in dark cognac...I would be all in for this.

Does carmina have a dark cognac/oak or mahagony color? I wiuld be very interested if so. All I see for
Brown is a medium brown and dark/chocolate brown (see natur Marron and vegano marron), neither of which are very appealing to me

It will be made up on the Soller. We had that very same model, posted a page back, from Alden in mind when we ordered the boot. The full specs are: Carmina model 80274 in Brown Suede, Soller last, visible brass eyelets, contrast stitching, flat laces, natural sole edge, Commando sole.

Count me in please, only need the sizing advise.

Where would you say the Soller Last is in regards to fit? Is this somewhere between the Forest and Rain?
Same question - what do you recommend for the Soller Tanker boots, if both UK9 Rain suede chukka (905) and UK9,5EE Forest shell high boots (797) fit perfectly?
