looks sleek considering this Forest is supposed to a more generous last. beautiful boot
Thanks!
I agree that it looks sleek, that's why I bought these and not Aldens. Maybe because it is Forest-"A" ? Anyway I had to buy 10EE instead if 9,5E.

Forest is a generous last indeed, but just in the ball area, and the toe box is quite high for comfort too. Other than that it is very sleek. Congrats!

Color compared with Allen Edmonds bourgundy cordovan

Has anyone heard from Betty recently? After confirming that my returned shoes were in customs, she has stopped returning my emails. It's getting really fustrating and I'm wondering whether I should file a Paypal dispute.

It's been almost 3 weeks since she confirmed that they were in customs. Based on a google search, it seems that customs can take a month or more, so it's possible that Betty is just not replying until something happens.

You're talking about a customs in Spain right? Was there some way you checked on the status or did you just wait a month not knowing what was going on?

Found a solution to my problem. After a google search, I found out that you can sometimes track your package using your USPS customs form number. And lo and behold, it exited customs last friday and was delivered today. It was in customs for a whole month.

I also have a pair of shoes in burgundy (burdeos?) cordovan on the forest last - its very dark, even in bright light. It doesnt strike me as burgundy, but I like the color - whatever it is.
