Since a few people have been wondering about the name I recorded myself saying "skoaktiebolaget". As previously mentioned by Frank the word "Skoaktiebolaget" consists of three different words, so I begin with the separate words.

If anyone has any other questions regarding the Swedish language then go ahead and send me a message rather than asking in this thread, I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability.

Forest last looks slightly nicer, almost a smart round. Good MTO.

Thanks! I agree, though I think Oscar looks very nice as a boot. Just not quite as nice as Forest.

Cuts deep, dig. I size down a full size in Forest (UK8), and should have sized down a full size in Inca and Oscar. I'm sure there is no size of Inca that would fit me well, however; the last just doesn't agree with the shape of my feet. An 8.5 would have been too short/narrow in the toes (it would squeeze my pinky toes), and the heel would still be too wide. Forest vs. Oscar: Oscar seems slightly wider (even imagining it as half a size smaller), and has a less tapered toe box (which might be the reason for that perception). Forest seems to have a lower instep. But isn't there an entire thread dedicated to these issues?
There's a thread, but the Oscar questions are (currently) most relevant within this thread, so it seemed reasonable to resolve the sizing issues here.
I purchased an MTO bal boot direct from Carmina in September, before their price increase, and to my pleasant surprise it arrived just over a month later... Balmoral boot on Forest last in cognac shell with Dainite soles (i.e. this, only shell: http://www.carmina.telemaco.es/articulo.asp?idarticulo=3465222) Too much text, not enough pictures. Happy Monday!

The square red box is always a joy to see.

Two vivid red dust bags will be practical, since my others are brown.

And the money shot(s):

The small perforation on one side looks incompletely punched.

Oscar (center) next to his new sibling, Forest.
Oomph, that's killer. If you don't mind me asking, how much did those run? And the price increase is 30% MTO surcharge (previously) -> 50% surcharge (now), correct?

Skoaktiebolaget is three words put together (this is common in swedish and a example would be, rain and fall makes the new word rainfall)
The words are:
SKO = Shoe
AKTIE = stock (like in stockholder)
BOLAGET = company (the exact mening is "the company")
AKTIEBOLAG is the swedish term for Inc.
So to conclude this swedish lesson. If you translate it directly to english it means "Shoe Inc.".
Hopefully someone understood what i just wrote :)

Thank you Frank. It is nice to learn something new from a different language and culture.

The above just arrived from Skoaktiebolaget the on Saturday. Adam helped me out with all my questions about fit and was very helpful. These are on the Robert last with a full Dainite sole. My first dress boot, first dainite sole and first pair of Carmina's. Definitely very happy with the last, its an excellent fit. I have a narrow to medium foot and the Robert last fits well without being too loose and giving plenty of toe room. Very happy with Carmina quality, and the Dainite sole is a treat. Feels very durable and will be perfect this winter.

Oh and first class service from Skoaktiebolaget. Will continue to do biz with them in the future.

Aw yeah. I didn't seem to be as hyped as everyone else was about Hardy in Inception, but Bronson made me start loving the guy.

I'd watch any movie with Hardy. He's good. In the movie, I was surprised that he wore a suit most of the time when he wasn't incarcerated.

Hey guys thinking of getting a dark brown semibrogue in the simpson last; though I have a wide and short foot. Would I be swimming in the shoe 'lengthwise' and Is it ok if the northern most point of my feet end just at where the 'toe-cap' starts or will I get some crazy unsightly creasing (heard simpson last had an extended 'toe-box'; assuming it means the 'hard-bit' is longer.
P.S.
Sorry for the crude representation of my question; will try on at the local tailors :)
Thanks

The Simpson is the opposite of the shape of your foot. I'd recommend the Robert or Forest last. Oscar may be a possibility as well.
