fantastic make-up. is the shaft unlined?

This is beautiful!
Edit-Namor, the shaft is lined but it is so soft it seems unlined. The boots also come in brown. We used snuff for the pictures because the details come out clearer. Justin, they are some beautiful boots and we always appreciate your kind words!

Query: the site says free shipping, yet when I put something in my cart it doesn't deduct the shipping. Is there some clause I'm missing, like free shipping doesn't apply to American addresses or something like that?

how true are the photos of the snuff suede to real life color
They are very close to real life color. We took them outside in sunshine and didn't alter the color of the picture. We just got a NEW shipment of Carmina yesterday and gentlemen they are sweet. Pictures will be up in the next couple of days.

Pardon the question, but do you'll mark the shipment at full value?
We get slapped with random and arbitrary duties upto 60-70% on declared value AND shipping costs..

We do mark the full value but we use EMS for shipping, never Fedex or DHL. With EMS you should avoid paying duties and taxes. Anyone who has ordered from us can report in on this but we haven't had customers complain about paying duties or taxes. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please let me know.

I've been hit every time, but twice and have had to pay upto almost $300 in duties, (one $550) which makes anything I buy with a high declared value unaffordable!

Just a quick heads up, I am in Lisbon, Portugal now and the local El Corte Ingles has a small selection of Carmina shoes (strangely they are not listed on the Carmina website as a stockist). The prices are the same as in the online shop, around 310-325 EUR for calf shoes. (No pictures, sorry)

In my rather extensive experience (as it applies to Canada) - if the vendor ships via a registered postal method, you stand a better than an 85% chance of avoiding duties altogether. EMS uses local post for final delivery here, so I expect unipair guy is correct on that score.

If the package is shipped by FedEx, you have close to a 90% chance of being hit with full duties and taxes. The same goes for DHL, but here you have the added likelihood of gross over-calculation of the duties owing, with extra brokerage fees added just to rub some salt in the wound.
