Under "Composition & Care," Farfetch lists a "Brand Style ID." For the wingtips, it's 922S. Since that corresponds to Carmina's 922 model number, I figured it was likely that they're on Rain. I think someone else here reported that what he received from Farfetch didn't correspond to Carmina's model number, even though the numbers seemed to match. Since, so far, Simpson is the only Carmina last for which I take a different size, it seemed like a relatively safe wager. We'll see!

Out of curiousity--why do you think 922S is Rain, and not Simpson? I would have guessed the S meant Simpson, but that is a wild guess at best.

Because 922 is the model number for Carmina's Rain-lasted wingtips. http://carminashoemaker.com/web/hom/coleccion_cajas.php?lang=eng&dist=h&id_col=17

The model number of the Simpson-lasted wingtip oxfords is 10090; the derbies are 10080. http://carminashoemaker.com/web/hom/coleccion_cajas.php?lang=eng&dist=h&id_col=8

I'm 8.5Uk in the simpson, so if this were the rain last, I can possibly fit into a 8.0K. Your thoughts?

^ I have narrow feet and a low instep, so I wear a half size larger in Simpson than in Rain, but it's close.

Nope it was sitting in their sale section for the past week or so. Got them for $365, MSRP was near $700 I think. Best part; as I was a sneaker collector, the sale of 6 sneakers pretty funded part of the purchase for these (paid $114 out of pocket), the Meermin Museum Calf and a pair of AE's.

Be careful about the Rain last. If Simpson fits well, the Rain may not, even if you size down. It's not that the Rain is just wider (which it is) but is also has a higher vamp/instep. So if you have a low instep, you'll get alot of creasing in the Rain last.

^^ well put. Then again it seems that almost a majority of SF members seem to forcefully fit Merc rims on a Beamer.
