Those are awesome. Is Louis still there? He was really helpful when I was there last year.

I'm not sure, I dealt with Miho who was very helpful and spoke great English.

Off topic, but does anyone know which color Saphir cream is the closest match to their "burdeos" calf? I'd have thought it would've been burgundy, but it definitely isn't.

^ Lovely! Any chance you could try to get a photo that shows the true color? I'm seriously considering picking these up if they're a good shade of Cognac.

Can anyone comment on the accuracy of the colour representation for these 922 brown calf brogues? I'm after quite a dark brown rather than a chocolate-type colour (which these seem to be).

The colour in the picture is quite true to IRL. This colour is called Vegano Marron, what you're after is the Natur Marron. Like this:

So I'm in the market for a new Spring/Summer loafer. A catch-all that I can wear with chinos and jeans as easily as I can with odd linen/fresco dress trou. I'm a fan of these but am curious to know if anyone here has a pair. I'm especially interested about the last (UETAM).

I was initially intrigued by the "Italian boat shoe" archetype when I saw these at Brooks Brothers. But seeing as how I want suede in a lighter color, the Carmina are ideal. And they are cheaper.

I've seen those in person (a friend of mine has a pair) and they're pretty damn incredible. I've tried on a sample in the Uetam and would go with the size I wear in every other last I've tried on. It's a comfortable last and fits much better than most other loafers I've worn/tried on.
