Wow, so much drama over a tiny question about the pointy-pointiness of a pair of shoes. You really ruined it meister.

Do yourself a favour and stay over on the CESSpool thread. You are annoying and tiresome enough over there.
The last thing we need over here is more of your idiocy.

This was such a nice thread...

iroh - i have no issue with you and have no idea what goes on in the CE, but that comment you made was not necessary here. please refrain from that over here. you can dislike pointy shoes, many do, but there are more tasteful ways of going about it. thanks.

Iroh - this is a thread inhabited for the most part by gentlemen. We treat each other with respect and common courtesy, even when we disagree. If you wish to join in the discourse here please behave within the norms of the group. If so, you are welcome to join us. If not, move on to another thread where your communcation style will be appreciated and welcomed. Your post above is neither here.

Frankly, a person capable of posting such and indecent and lunatic thing is not capable of behaving within the norms of any group. If it was some minimal moderation in this place he would be out already.
On the other hand, his original question is legitimate, do people here feel confident enough to wear elongated shoes and risk a potential rejection from the girl you are dancing with?, how do you feel about that?

You risk this with all clothes but i hardly think the risk is that big. If a girl reject you because of you have pointy shoes she probably don´t like you that much or is a total moron. Good riddance!
Wearing what you like and wear it with confidence will get you more girls than trying to wear what you think someone like. Stupid question in the first place...

Well - no - that wasn't the post that was objectionable. The post that was objectionable is no longer in the thread. hmmmm.......

In any case - be nice and be welcome here!

Question... Deciding between two G&G shoes in black.. Mainly for business dress, thoughts on either the Oxford or the Sinatra? On the Sinatra, what are your thoughts on whole cuts?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I like the whole cut between those two in black. Could pull off black tie with it if needed.

The Oxford, while excellent, is an iteration that most shoe makers make.

My two cents...
