Recently saw Pulp Fiction still a great film.
The Young Elisabeth - Jean-Marc Valléet ( 2009)
It is difficult to understand that this is made by the same man that made the thrilling 'Dallas buyers club', since this movie is so sweet and quiet, but so distant, and the pictures are just the opposite of the content of the movie. It is not that easy to portrait conflict by using harmony. Nice, even clever - but uninspired photos.
The acting feels mechanical and I never get under the skin of these people; they might be good - but I never get get to know them.
Nice dresses though, and glimpse of a nice room once in a while. I think this movie says little about life. At least my life.
