Ton style est assez franchouillard modasse mais c'est fait avec aplomb. Tu devrais porter du Lanvin, tu es né pour...

Dude, if you hang out with some Persian bros you must see some sick luxe-plebeian fits too (and modified benzos) and something it works.Some people just roll like that but he does it well so I say props to him. In France Marc Jacobs gets respect from fashion people that aren't 16 y/o girls, don't ask me why.

I meant stuff like blazers and luxurious sweaters or dress shirts, would go well with your aesthetic.

it is slang:
franchouillard: somewhat pejorative expression to designate average french conceptions and characteristics

modasse=fashion whore

Basically I said he was in the mold of the run of the mill french fashion whore but pulled it off quite well.

Yeah, agreed. He does do that version of French Douchebag pretty well. For those who don't know, French douchebags are the French equivalent of American douchebags, except that they are more into fashion and are less inclined to fight. I mean, they are French. Either group would be way into "Bottle Service" which as a label will espouse the aesthetics of Lanvin, Chrome Hearts, and Kanye equally.

His first 2 jackets are cut way too formally for the fit, they look like orphans
Tuck on the 2nd fit is bad, the back should not show like that (plus, I think those shoes are just not for tuck)

I have never understood this. He looks like every single young person out on Sat. night near the Bastille/beaubourg/marais. Not necessarily a bad thing as Fuuma, I think, would say: tu fais koi dans la vie? ton papa il est ki?

I think that I like your coat, but I need to see more pics to be sure. Does it have some kind of assymetrical chestflap thing going on, or am I seeing things?
