A good and elegant belt for jeans?

Hello gentlemen! Since it is impossible to wear a suit 24/24 as a student I also wear jeans, unfortunately the belt which I use for suits and which is very nice by the way is not wide enough for blue jeans. I'm looking for something conservative with a normal buckle, not some big square or eagle or some other extravangance, it should be black since I only own black shoes, oh and preferably good quality! Can you help me out? My jeans are usually very bright, light blue but not white. I always wear shirts or polo shirts by the way. Never T-shirts, I hate these things.

Thank you westinghouse, got any pictures? Otherwise some cheaper good quality solutions will be much appreciated! Its important to me that the belt is sewn and not glued.

Maurizio Amadei / MA+ makes really fine quality leather belts, perhaps exclusively in brown, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a black one. They're expensive though.

I would say my budget is something like £130 max gentlemen.

I'm wearing a $30 gap belt, and it's sewn. It's not particularly cost prohibitive to sew a belt, I don't know why you would think they're not.

I need a really good durable belt which will last, that is my concern. Did I mention that it has to be leather?

Look at companies like gap that make basics. Belts are quite easy to find pretty much anywhere. Just go to a local shopping center.

The $40 and $50 belts from Banana Republic are the same as the $10 belts from Old Navy. Just saying. I have a pretty decent black belt from Mens Warehouse that was $25.

Well, I don't know if they make em like they used to anymore, but I have a thick, heavy Levi's belt that is 20+ years old and still in great shape. I've probably worn it close to 2000 times.
