No mystery here. Bidder A***k lost the first auction with a high bid of $720. 90 minutes later, he was more determined (and willing to pay more) to win the other (last) pair of Lobbs. He was much more aggressive and went up to $900 this time. AND... LOST once again. To a totally different buyer.
Tough luck for this fella. It feels like crap to come in 2nd 2 times in a row. If only...

I've had that happen with some wide suit hangers :censored:

The versace went for 12ish, the HF went for 17ish, then the boss went for 20ish (all auctions were for 6 hangers) It could have something to do with brand, but I think the same people were watching all the auctions and missed kept missing out

Those RLPL cords are enticing. I need to remind myself that I just bought green cords. I'd like to think one doesn't need more than one pair of unconventionally colored corduroys.

Be sure to get measurements to the middle hole. The Lobb belts run small. Proof is that I have a supposedly 38 brown Lobb belt that I can't wear because it is closer to a 36.
Steven

And so you would be trying to get rid of said 36 belt...?

I think I bought exactly the same model from this seller a few months ago (my post here).
They are a bit too conservative for my taste. I have not had the chance to wear them yet (did not seem very appropriate for summer and are very stiff). The seller is reliable, and she accepts reasonable offers.

I purchased the wingtips and think they are at home. Looked to be quite well made?

These are quite well made indeed. I've seen plenty other more fashion blake-stiched AV shoes that were comparable to Paul Smith or N.D.C.
