The first thing that jumps out at me on this is the inseam length. It's ******* perfect.
It actually looks like he has legs instead of a pile of denim vaginas

 that's like a Kurt Vonnegut worthy metaphor! What's NOT on my X-Mas list this year?? A pile of denim vaginas!!

I agree, but I could've found you 100s of similar boots that are MUCH better quality wise. I almost fainted when I looked at them in person. :D Horrible.

I think when you wear Supreme you are either making a statement that you know something about skating and it's history, or you are trying to fit into the culture. I'd never knock someone for wearing it but it's the reason I won't, but not because the profile of the hats is ugly, or the color combinations and patterns. They actually make some cool stuff.

This is how I used to feel and is why I lent my 5-panel hat to my skater little brother. But at this point, Supreme is mostly a meaning-less part of popular youth fashion that doesn't really imply much besides "youth" which I kind of like now that I'm a quote-unquote "adult." Also, I like wearing hats in general and it looks a lot less affected than a newsboy or some ****.

Yeah it's a skater brand and gives off a "street" (read: not white) vibe but all fashion is costume blah blah blah. Getting your panties in a twist about this particular authenticity issue with all of the costumey **** that's out there (are you 'authentically' a sprezzy 60 year old italian dude? a post-apocalyptic ninja? a miami vice drug lord?) strikes me as coming from a place of guilt/shame regarding privilege/whiteness. At a certain point it's better to not give a **** and rock out with ********* out regardless of how (other white) people are going to try and guilt you into feeling bad about your own whiteness in order to slow your roll/absolve themselves of their own guilt. White people calling each other white is like two hipsters calling each other hipster.

Also, they're doing some cool stuff with fabric. My 5-panel is made out of a black denim material that's a lot nicer/more rugged than regular cotton caps. My brother has an italian wool one.

I like supreme and I think 5 panel hats (supreme and others) can look really good, I just think the supreme one, from a brand image perspective, looked off in that fit. but thinking about it, a norse projects one or something probably wouldn't have evoked the same response, so maybe it was just an unwarranted knee jerk response.

Mine is actually WHT, some kind of weird junhashimoto diffusion brand, got it for under $75 new
Not as nice fabric as the wjk ones, tho, which have cool washed process and whatnot

Really comfy to wear and warm, tho, in the middle of a button-up and a cardigan, lined through the arms and shoulders like a light jacket

Layering on this is bananas, not in a good way. The hemlines & layered closures & hood look fussy, nothing wrong with a few denim vaginas either but the inseams are fine.
