Probably not Donegal - not enough colour flecks?

I tried to scan it, but that causes moirÃ

with a printed photo which doesn't make it easier to see.

Edit: here they are anyway

This.

I'm stubborn.

I was, then I wasn't. Then NOBD was, and it reminded me that I was again. But, then Ed said it looked like a sweat suit and Manton flip-flopped. So, now I'm not sure anymore.

That's why it's attractive. It's striking and unusual. Sometimes, not always. Bold can be beautiful.

parker...

Don't listen to Ed. I think it's a great suit for San Francisco. I'd stick with tans and greys, on the lighter side. I think you'd also get a lot of use out of the jacket as a separate.

So, is mafoofan's tweed here the Thornproof 62015 ? It looks greyer and with some specks of green and red I don't see in the 62015... Maybe 62024 ?

Yes, seems lighter, 'fluffier' and greyer; doesn't look like the 62015.

He identified it a few times as a Thornproof cloth. I think he even had one of these "pick my next fabric for me" thread.

Unless he has two different donegal tweed jackets... ?

They're 17 oz though.... Isn't that just too heavy for a suit?

No. Not in winter in New York.
