Is it safe to order samples of CREED EdT on eBay? Can samples be faked?

I would think nobody would bother to fake something to sell for 5 bucks... but nevertheless, can there be fake samples of CREED?

Fakes abound.

I'd like to think that samples shouldn't/wouldn't be faked, but that's one of the reasons that the manufacturers (Guerlain in particular) fought so hard to eliminate the sales of decants and secondhand bottles from ebay and perfume boards. They have ZERO quality control, and stand to lose a sale, or lots of sales should someone decant a bad/turned/counterfeit scent.

I agree, but still, what's the point of faking a sample (and doing the printing, as CREED samples seem to come in nice packaging) that will sell for 5 bucks?

seems like a lot of work, but if you get a 125 ml bottle (I think creeds come in 125, at the large size) of iffy juice and don't have a lot of feedback: split the bottle into 1 ml vials and sell them at $5 a pop, plus shipping. More work than I find it to be worth, but it's a way to recover some of your cost. Whether you get the nice Creed packaging is a crapshoot, or if they just scan and re-print, who knows. It's a low-dollar transaction that is not going to cause much in the way of liability if things go south.

I've used the perfumed court (google it) multiple times for samples, decants, etc., and always been happy with service and cost.

I've also used a seller from ebay to buy my creed and it was real. Just gotta be careful.

You can just go to dept stores that carry it and they will give you samples...all you gotta do is ask. They're especially helpful if you are buying some as well (this past summer I asked for a shitload to sample and got them.

I go to the store and most of the time they do not have samples of all the scents. I have a couple sellers on Ebay that I use for Creed. Can't see paying 250-350.00 for a bottle. It is good stuff, but I would rather pay much less and have more money to spend on doing things with my significant other.
