I can't believe...
I'm an 8.5D, but the creasing on those is a bit much for me.

No, plain ole' brown. Snagged these from the shoe bank for 299. Great deal, though every so often the crooked cap stitching catches my eye.
Oh, and they looked horrendous out of the box at first...
Here's another pic
It is that. I try to get down there for a weekend every couple of months. Parts of New Orleans make you feel like you've left the country entirely.
bespoken_pa lives there currently. I believe he's a carpetbagger, though.
Dalton is a great choice. Id also recommend:
Kenilworth walnut or brown
McNeil
McTavish in tan or black
Strand in brogue suede
Cordovan Leeds if you can spare the cash...
Since boots are all on sale it is a good time to focus on them. (unless you are looking at the 30% amazon disc.)Thanks everyone for the tips.
I will check them all out for sure.
Got the good phone call from Allison yesterday! Got back to the office this afternoon and shoe giggidy!!
The color (Brown Shell Cordovan) is a little flat out of the box but I'm hoping with some TLC these will be a great addition to my collection.
They are the "Players" Model. Independence lining and insole and outsole. Brown flat welt with wheeled edges. Transparent Brown edge dressing.
I'll try to get some better pics (fluorescent at work kinda crappy)
I'm glad I pulled a last minute change and went up a width based on how narrow I heard these can be.
Haha, if its a trubalance size 8, then I would gladly give those Indys a new home. This single photo made me reconsider selling my Indy for Jcrew. I got them at 25% off with an additional 15% at the store for a total of $312, which is a steal. I thought I didn't need them since I have 721 and 744 shell Wolverines, but I guess you can't have too many boots.

Those look great! What did you do to get them looking nice? Brushing and reno? Making me even more excited to get my brown shell jeffersons that are currently being remade!

Most boots ate $50-100 off right on the main AE website.Which boot sale is this?
