RTW heel fitting is ridiculous, every last accomodates wide heels.

Yes.
Vass should make new last for F, U and other modern last with more narrow heel for export.
We start thread on Vass heel width and send to Eva Vass,
yes?

Thanks for the answers, guys. The heel slipping is new to me, I've never had this with any of my shoes. I don't think I have a particularly narrow heel.

I suppose the problem comes from the shoe being too long for me. I hope that U last 41.5 will solve this problem.

And thanks for the hint with the downsizing for the F last. I will keep this in mind. ATM I think it's best to find out my size with the U last before switching last and starting the trial and error process again.

Cheers

G&G heel cups are by far the best fitting ones I've come across for those with narrower heels.

This is an odd find. I've a small heel, but GG's last GG06 leaves me with plenty of empty space. EG's last 202, on the other hand, fits like a glove.

only because US banks cannot handle international standards, don't blame VASS, please. ty.

That doesn't make any sense though, because I have purchased plenty of items from stores in Europe, both in person, over the phone, and online. They have always accepted a credit card. Vass is the first to say no. It's too bad.

I would not accept credit cards either . CC is **** form of payment because it is reversible by the buyer for any reason and comes with 2.5 to 3.5% fee to the seller.
But their monopoly is coming to an end soon.

I will be visiting the new shop on October 10th, and last time I was there I noticed they had lot's of different shoes for sale (crocodile, suede, boots instead of only oxfords and derbies like they mostly had in their old shop).

Does anyone have a picture request?
