My personal experience:

SC has the quickest turn around time - I had 4 pairs of MTO in one order and shoes were completed within 4 1/2 weeks.

Vass can take anything from 7 to 10 weeks. My Cordovan boots were over 12 weeks. This was partly
down to the Shell suppliers in the US.

But in general they are faster than the Brits - John Lobb London are quoting 10-12 months for your first pair of bespoke.
Cleverley not far off....

That's not really fair to compare MTO and bespoke in order times. But your point is right nevertheless - even for MTO they quote months. Or take the Meermin approach, quote three weeks and deliver in six months.*

I can drop by and pick them up for you. Tell me again, what size shoe do you wear?

A couple of items from Vass and Tombrone/Vass.

First, a surprise gift from Rezso at Vass! Far too kind...

Very nice Moo! Details on them?

I really like the quality of the suede VASS offers. Got my suede P2's in august and been wearing them a couple of days per week when it hasn't been snowing outside, and they are holding up very nice!

Meermin quotes you 3 weeks and takes 6 months to deliver. We only have ourself to blame.
Look at the popularity of the Carmina & Meermin thread on SF....

I can't wait for next week - be out there getting some more MTO's done...

Some of the 5* Hotel's are awesome value - Paid $99 for the 5* Corinthia the last time I stayed. That's a fifth of the Corinthia London Embankment..

The Nobu prices in Kempinski Hotel half price compared to Nobu Mayfair London.
