I wanted a pair just like my old Lobb Williams with the rubber sole - I have to take my hat off to Rezso and the Vass crew, they matched my request perfectly.

Sadly, I'm selling my dark whiskey shell norvegers (new and unwalked in) as they are too large for me.

It takes a bit of skill to make hefty soles look smaller, on that pair the slim welt does the trick nicely. At least from the user's perspective.

Personally, I dislike commando soles on this, dressier, type of shoes; gross, no matter it's Vibram or else. I wear Vibram soles with my Meindl hiking boots, where they belong.
