As far as chinos go, I'd get the ones in whatever color you'd use the most. I have the ones in OD and they are the bees knees thinkin I might pick some up in navy but who knows.

Wow a MKII supplier! I had a couple of Seikos modified by Bill Yao years ago and they are favorites in my collection.

Definitely a 32 in the Smith jeans. For the chinos, it's likely that either would work. If you like to tuck your shirt in, then I'd go for a 32 in that as well (a 31 in the Olive Drab Mil-Spec), which runs a little big.

Oh man, I think about that all the time! I've actually worn the matching jacket & jean look quite a bit. Here's my full-body denim WAYWT from 2005. I'm the guy in the captain's hat with a green durag beneath it.

Seriously though, we're definitely looking at that for next Spring. I'd love to do a denim jacket. For this Fall, we'll release an EP's wool melton CPO jacket. It's going to be a great piece, and have a bunch of details to make it more versatile than the usual "shirt jacket." It will work as a great Fall outerwear piece on its own, or a solid layering piece for the really cold winter days.

Two weeks without a computer is hell.

Just ordered mil spec chinos and the Rudie. I completely forgot about the sizing down on the chinos though.

Is it possible to change that 31 to a 30?

Thanks Harry!

And no problem - I made the change on your order. We'll try to get this out today.

Haha. I ordered the same chinos as you with a pair of Smiths. Can't wait so I chose express shipping too.

Thank you sir! Internat'l Express is going out first thing in the morning.

Also, I'm happy to report that Fred Perry arrived today! Liberty Polos, UK-Made Polos, and the elusive cherry-red Harrington. We'll have it all online next week.

Hah, I know - you guys are butting heads on the OD Oxford steez. But no one at Gitman has named their products after foods and condiments - so you've still got that over them

Thanks - I'm a huge Fred Perry fan, so it's exciting for us to finally carry their line. I'm doing really tight assortments. Everything has to be made in Europe (England, Scotland, Portugal) and I personally try on every piece. The Cherry Harrington is so fresh. Okay, and for the next product launch of today - our latest Alden makeup. A leather-lined black suede chukka on the Barrie last with a flex-welt sole. It's a smooth operator, and an excellent match to the grey flannel trousers that we'll be putting out something fierce this Fall. We've got 18 units.
