Factory Finds delivered. Pleasant surprise as I forgot that I had four pairs coming. All Walts as follows:

Dark sand basket weave. Very lightweight and I'm pleased with the pattern and color. I think these will make a good warm weather wool trouser.

Wool-silk twill. So soft with a wonderful texture to the color from the weave.

Now I wish they were all instantly hemmed. Sadly don't see myself getting to the tailor for at least a week...

And I've got a serious problem since I'm now very excited about the next FF round... Lavender? I hope so.

Which ones on the site are these two? I don't see them.

But I want them.

Anybody have any experience with the Large versus the XL shirts? Like how incremental of a difference is it? Thinking of trying to size down as the 2 XL's I have are a bit better than my Gitman Vintage Larges, but still could fit slightly better.

I'm having the same conundrum. I used to wear Gitman larges but they've gotten to be too big. I can just barely fit into a Gitman medium but they are very slim fitting on me and I get a slight pulling across the chest (and then I go to put on a jacket and it pulls like crazy). Not sure if Epaulet large or XL would be better. May have an April trip to NYC in the works so I suppose I can wait and find out then.

I find that I need to go up one size from Gitman in Epaulet shirts. Gitman L = Epaulet XL.

I asked Mike about Navy Label shirts too. He said they're getting 7 new styles of Navy Label shirts in a few weeks.

Uh-oh. These things are almost a perfect fit on me.

Sloppy cut and paste but none the less my first epaulet shirt (lavender oxford) in small. I am 5'11 155 pound for reference and this shirt is definitely slim (or maybe I am not adjusted to a real shirt). The cloudy day and camera do not do the color on the fit pic justice.

I'd probably size up, there is some stress around the back and a bit on the chest.

If I had any computer skills this is exactly what I would have done. I'd size up, cause it probably will shrink a touch, especially if you put it in the dryer.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I guess the shoulder creases are from the high arm holes? It doesn't feel too tight in the shoulders, even though it looks like it.

If it walks like a duck...

Dude, ever since our denim convo we've been on the same wavelength. 10 oz French Blue Duck, Natty Chrom Boots...and the snorkel parka...the cold weather version of what you had on today.

I just ordered a Gitman medium (I'm 6'0 and 160 lbs). I have no experience with Gitman or Epaulet shirts...so not sure if I should have went with small but I was fearing the arms would be too short on them. With the medium even if it isn't slim on me I can get it tailored. Lets see how it goes.

Awesome haul! Those wool-silk twills look great, I got a pair of Rudys in that fabric, should be here tomorrow
I think you are going to be very happy with these.
That last twill is the best of the bunch IMO :nodding:
Thanks.

I might not have to sell you mine. If there's fabric left, if may be possible for Mike to take an order for these when he does the next round of Factory Finds. Sand basket weave is definitely a warm weather weight and wool-silk twill isn't too heavy, so you wouldn't even be too far off the season cycle even with living in the desert... Can't hurt to ask.

I'm in this exact boat, size wise. My Epaulet XL's probably have the best sleeves I've ever seen though. I may just order a large as a sample to see for myself.
